Om Metalzone:

Historien:

Historien om metalzone.dk starter tilbage i januar 2003, hvor Kristiansen henvender sig til Gydesen med ideen om at lave en hjemmeside, som udelukkende beskæftiger sig med metal. Til at starte med, blevet siden udelukkende drevet af folk fra vennekredsen, der ville mere end bare at lytte til musikken, og samtidigt havde et ønske om at dele meninger og synspunkter med andre ligesindede.
Det stod dog hurtigt klart at siden ikke kunne leve videre, hvis ikke man hentede forstærkninger fra andre dele af landet.

Siden den spæde start har en stor mænge anmeldere været inde og runde metalzone, for så at gå videre til egne eller større projekter. De eneste tilbageværende skribenter fra denne periode er grundlæggeren Kristiansen selv og Zeilau. Da Gydesen i starten af 2004, valgte at springe fra, var der nu brug for en ny webmaster, og derfor var det naturligt at en af de ældre skribenter, navnlig Giebel, tog over, da han stort set var den eneste med erfaring indenfor kodning og design.

Målsætninger:

- At bringe nyheder fra scenen til folket
- At drive en ikke-kommerciel, hjemmeside, med fokus på metal.
- At øge interessen for metal.
- At anmelde alt hvad der kan kategoriseres som metal.
- At opnå et acceptabelt niveau, som sidesætter metalzone med andre sider.
- At hygge sig med det altoverskyggende tema, som er metal.
